Disney Channel and the “High School Musical 3” Malaysian voice talents want kids to join a tree-planting project to help reforest Paya Indah Wetlands in Kuala Langat, Selangor, on Nov 29.
The project called Jom, Hijaukan Malaysia! is for aged between nine and 14.
This is part of the launch of the television premiere of the third installment in the Disney phenomenon High School Musical franchise which airs on Disney Channel at 7.30pm on Dec 5.
Dafi and Mila who voice Troy and Gabriella respectively, will be there to lead the tree-planting together with the other voice talent cast members, Nana (who voices Sharpay), Marsha (Taylor) and Fauziah Nawi (Mrs. Darbus).
Laura E. Wendt, managing director and vice-president of Disney Channels Southeast Asia said: “High School Musical 3 is all about finding your voice and following your dreams and this tree-planting project gives us the opportunity to follow our dream of getting together and making a difference in the environment.”
